Sri Lankan Mango Chutney (Amba Chutney)

Ingredients :
500 g mangoes
400 g sugar
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2  tsp cardamom powder
50 g raisins
2 tsp chopped ginger
2 tsp chopped garlic
2/3 cup water
1 cup vinegar
4 tsp salt

Directions :

peel mangoes and cut into thing and long slices and remove the seeds. next put into a pan and add water, ginger and garlic. next cook it under low fire about 35 minutes. then mix well and add sugar, chilli powder, cardamom powder, water, vinegar, salt and stir until for golden color within 5 minutes. then remove from fire and add raisins and mix well. let cool and serve.
